Terebra maculata Linnaeus
This shell is lustrous and graceful in form. Its aperture is long and its body whorl spacious. The Marlinspike shell is a light peach cream with brown dashes in color. Because of the pointed shape of this shell, it became a tool for boring holes.
This shell is found in shallow waters.
